Raised on Zeppelin and the soul
bands of the ‘70’s, Derrek cut his teeth in the
blues clubs of Austin and San Francisco before
relocating to his native Salt Lake and founding
a number of bands including R&B favorites The
Jonz and New Orleans funk machine, and Mighty
Dave and the Crescent City Thunder. Derrek’s soulful-bluesy
guitar adds a tough American edge to the Frog’s
Celtic sound.
